Howdy!
My name is Richard Garcia, and this will be my 12th year teaching middle school, and my 10th year at Cade.
(Samburu Reserve in Kenya, Stawamus Chief South Peak in Canada, Brown Bluff in Antarctica, Terracotta Warriors in China, Kylemore Abbey in Ireland, and Devil's Cauldron in Ecuador)
I graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station with a BS in Economics. My background in teaching is at the high school level, so one of my main goals is to create independent learners that will be successful in the secondary education setting.
We also will be working towards the STAAR/EOC test at the end of the year. I'm looking forward to a cooperative learning environment and a great year!
