My name is Richard Garcia, and this will be my 11th year teaching middle school, and my 9th year at Cade.

I graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station with a BS in Economics. My background in teaching is at the high school level, so one of my main goals is to create independent learners that will be successful in the secondary education setting.

We also will be working towards the STAAR/EOC test at the end of the year. I'm looking forward to a cooperative learning environment and a great year!
