Ms. Catherine Newell is a VISD graduate who attend all 13 years at Victoria ISD schools (Juan Linn, Vickers, Crain, Victoria Memorial High School). She graduated in May 2016 with her bachelor's in business administration majoring in Accounting and Management. She is certified to teach Social Studies 7-12 and Speech 7-12. She taught Professional Communications, Debate and MAPS at Victoria East High School for two years before leaving teaching to join a local accounting firm. In the spring of 2020, she decided to return to teaching eager to help young people gain a greater understanding of historical events and their impacts on modern times. She is excited to join the 8th Grade Cade Middle School team and don the black and gold.
