Hello! Welcome to AVID and Health!  My name is Lisa Brimberry and I am teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade AVID as well as one section of Health Education this year.  This will be my 19th year of teaching and my 9th year at Cade Middle School. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.  I have taught Life Science, Career Exploration, 21st Century Workforce, Health Ed, and AVID.

It is important to me that my students become lifelong learners, effective communicators, and able to advocate for themselves.  I am looking forward to a great year together!

I have three children, Sarah, Emily, and Gage as well as two grandchildren, Wyatt and Evie.  I enjoy time at the beach, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
