At Friday’s Victoria West High School football game, Victoria ISD’s Athletic Director Spencer Gantt was joined by Superintendent of Schools Quintin Shepherd and Deputy Superintendent Randy Meyer in recognizing one of the nine scoreboard sponsors.
First Community Bank was recognized during the pre-game.
Midfield representing First Community Bank was First Community Bank President Wes Hopkins, who was inducted into the Bankers Hall of Fame in 2022, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager Brian Aycock, Vice President and Branch Manager of the Victoria Branch Monica Rodriguez, and Loan Officer Matt Moore.
During Spring 2022, generous donations from nine local businesses allowed VISD to replace the 23-year-old scoreboard and play clocks. Scoreboard sponsors will be recognized throughout the football season.
